She provides lesson ideas such as writing narratives, brainstorming, writing letters, and creating political cartoons. Along with lesson ideas she also provides resources for teachers such as websites and books. I feel that it is important for students to speak up for themselves and for others. Some are taught to ignore issues but sometimes it is important to listen and become educated about issues.
Such a valuable lesson to learn! It is something that even teachers need to be reminded of this from time to time. I tell my students that they need to be a good person, even when nobody is looking. Great article and great response to be reminded of.
